Kerry "Burrhead" "Abe" "Abraham" Arthur Abrams, 56 of Canadensis, suddenly passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. Born in Honesdale, he was the son of Dewitt and Barbara (Finan) Abrams. Kerry was the husband of Nicole (Stotsenburg) Abrams. He worked as a welder and heavy equipment operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for over 34 years. Kerry was a member of the Barrett Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Oak Springs Sportsman Club. Kerry enjoyed 4 wheeling, fishing and hunting. Above all, he loved his Jeeps as well as, reminiscing and sharing old time stories with his loved ones.
Joseph "Joe" A. Calistro, Jr., 66, of Cresco, passed away in his home on Friday, November 11, 2022. Born in New York, New York he was the son of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Pearcy) Calistro. Joe was the beloved husband of the late Larissa (Ptashynsky) Calistro.
Anna Victoria Young, 82, of Cresco, died peacefully in her daughter's home in Belvidere, New Jersey on Friday, November 4, 2022.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late John and Anita (Garcia) Berrios and loving wife of the late Joseph (Rusty) Young.
Anna will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joseph Young and his wife Cathy, Debra Stensrud and her husband John, Bruce Young and Walter Young and his wife Jenny and grandchildren Ryan, Michael, Brandi, Audrey, Sam, and Jack; sisters, Elsie Gedman and Sonia Hunter along with many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private gathering with immediate family.

He was the husband of the late Ann (Gilpin) Mick with whom he shared 58 years of marriage at the time of her death on July 7, 2012.
John Freach, 93, of Cresco, died Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown. He was the husband of Barbara (Iffert) Freach with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.

Raised in the Carnegie Section of Pittsburgh - Jack had a fascination with mechanics and airplanes - graduating in 1941 from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics earning the coveted Airframe and Powerplant License.
Jeffrey S. Landi, 56, of Cresco, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital Burtonsville. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Patricia (Vernoy) Landi and the late Ronald Landi. Jeffrey worked in maintenance at P.C.P and was a former member of the Barrett Township Fire Company.
Frank Edward Olson, 94, formerly of Manhattan, New York and a resident of Canadensis for the past 30 years, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
Teri Lynne Lutz, 60, of Cresco passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Born in East Stroudsburg she was the daughter of Gloria (Oney) Lutz and the late Ronald Lutz. Teri was a manager at Camelback resort for over 42 years, where she was a mentor and great friend to all whom she crossed paths with. Teri loved nature and the outdoors and above all possessed a true heart of gold.
Boyle, Richard J. (Dick) of Stuart, Florida and Buck Hill Falls, PA died peacefully on June 11, 2022. Beloved husband of Denise Burke Boyle. Devoted father of Ann Marie Myers (Gerald) and Richard J. Boyle Jr. (Tamara). Loving grandfather of Ava, Gregory, Nicole and Brandon. Dear brother of Eileen McCarthy and Kathleen O'Brien (Dennis). Lawrence Anthony Madden, 67, of Cresco, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022. Born in Queens, New York he was the son of the late Edward and Charolette (Speielman) Madden. Lawrence worked for Major Hyundai as a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed comic books, riding motorcycles and building Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Nancy, Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Nanciann Madden and Melissa Foster and her husband Chad and grandchildren, Malekai Foster, Caysyn Foster, Maizey Foster and Adeline Biechy.

She was a member at the former Christ the King parish of Blakslee.
