He retired from New York City Transit. He enjoyed cooking, baking, gaming and all things Sci-Fi. Above all Joe will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend.
Survivors: Joe will be lovingly remembered by his son, Steven Calistro; daughter, Davina Calistro; sister, Michelle McAleer and her husband Joseph; grandson, Joseph Anthony Calistro and his niece, Jessica McAleer.
Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
