Clair was a member of the Pocono Lodge No. 780, F&AM in Cresco.
Surviving are three daughters, Beth Bender of Mount Pocono, Cindy Papile of Mt. Pocono, and Kathi Smallacombe and husband Dale of Paradise Valley; four grandchildren, Melissa Smallacombe, Michael Papile, Brianna Walsh and Lindsey Levin; four great-grandchildren; his nephew and caregivers, Andrew Powell and his companion Margaret; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce R. Powell in 2019.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
