PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Sealed proposals will be received, opened and read aloud by the Board of Supervisors of Barrett Township at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at the Barrett Township Municipal Building, 993 Route 390, Cresco, PA 18326 to purchase a paver equipped equal to or better than the following: 8500 Lee-Boy High Deck Paver manufactured between years 2000-2010; Hatz 4 cycle diesel air cooled motor; basic screed with 8' width; max screed with 15' width; track drive; conveyors; augers and cylinder. Dimension: 12'8" Length; 6'6" Height. Hopper wing in 8'6". Hopper wing out 10'. Weight: 15,600 lbs. Price range: up to $25,000. Proposals will be accepted up until 4 p.m. February 11, 2020. Proposals will not be accepted after the 4 p.m. deadline. Once proposals are submitted, they will not be allowed to be withdrawn or changed after the 4 p.m. deadline. The Board of Supervisors may award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder immediately following the opening of bids on February 12, 2020, or at such other time as may be announced in public at that meeting. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any and all informalities in the proposal and furthermore award the contract in such a manner as may appear to be in the best interest of Barrett Township. Proposals may be held by the Board of Supervisors for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and investigating the qualifications of Vendors, prior to awarding the contract.
