The following is a brief summary of all of the sections of the proposed ordinance, which, if adopted, will amend the Barrett Township Code of Ordinances (the Code ): Section 1 of the proposed ordinance adds definitions for Shooting Range, Indoor and Shooting Range, Outdoor to Article II (Definitions) of Chapter 525 (Zoning) of the Code. Section 2 amends Article IV (Conservation Subdivision) to permit indoor and outdoor shooting ranges in that zoning district by conditional use. Section 3 amends Article VI (Mixed Use Village District) to permit indoor shooting ranges in that district by conditional use. Section 4 amends Article VII (Commercial Resort/Hotel) to permit indoor shooting ranges by conditional use. Section 5 amends Article VIII (Light Industrial) to permit indoor and outdoor shooting ranges in that district by conditional use. Section 6 amends Article IX (Industrial) to allow indoor and outdoor shooting ranges in that district by conditional use. Section 7 amends Article X (Use Regulations), Section 23 (Use Regulations), Subparagraph C (Religious, educational, recreational and institutional uses) to provide detailed regulations for indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. Section 8 amends Attachment 1 Appendix A (Table of Regulations) to provide for indoor and outdoor shooting ranges to be permitted by conditional use as provides in Sections 2 through 6 above. Sections 9 and 10, respectively, contain repealer and validity provisions. Section 11 provides that the proposed ordinance will be effective five days after the date of its enactment
