PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO APPOINT INDEPENDENT ACCOUNTANT TO PERFORM ANNUAL AUDIT (re: Fiscal Year 2023)

TAKE NOTICE that on January 2, 2024 at 9:00 A.M., at its annual reorganization meeting to be held at the Barrett Administrative and Recreational Complex, 1200 Route 390, Cresco, Pennsylvania 18326, the Board of Supervisors of Barrett Township intends to consider the appointment, in accordance with Section 917 of the Second Class Township Code, of a certified or competent public accountant or a firm of certified or competent public accountants, either of which shall be registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If appointed, the public accountant or firm of public accountants will perform the annual audit of all the accounts of Barrett Township for fiscal year 2023 in lieu of the elected auditors.
