Born in Seattle, WA, Phil was the son of the late Philip Faler and Pauline Faler. He was married to Carol Faler for 54 years and was a beloved husband and devoted family man, well known for his integrity and service to others. A composer, songwriter, and professional musician for most of his life, Phil wrote and released a record with RCA Records and recorded an inspirational gospel album. He worked as a residential developer and photographer. Phil served in the United States Coast Guard from 1964 to 1968.
Phil is survived by his loving wife, Carol Faler. He will also be lovingly remembered by his children: his son the late Jack Faler and wife Debbie Faler, his son Mark Faler and wife Patti Faler, daughter Kristine Bender and husband Joey Bender, and son Philip Faler. He is also lovingly remembered by his 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Rachel Harrison. He is forever loved by many.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Parish, 236 PA-390, Cresco, PA 18326. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Seese Hill Joint Cemetery, 1018 Seese Hill Rd, Canadensis, PA 18325.
In lieu of flowers, Phil's family kindly asks that contributions be made to the Monroe County Hospice House or to the Animal Welfare Society of Monroe (AWSOM).
