Katherine A. Price

Katherine A. Price, 91, of Cresco, died Wednesday morning, February 28, 2024, while under hospice care in her son's home where she resided for the past few years. She was the widow of Harry E. Price with whom she shared 58 years of marriage at the time of his death on August 28, 2012.

Born on August 17, 1932 in Hudson, NY, she was one of twelve children to the late Charles and Sophia (Yost) Yost.
She was secretary for the family business, Price Brothers Electrical Contractors, for many years.
Katherine was a member of the Mountainhome United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, David M. Price and wife Diane of Cresco; two grandchildren, Katie Price Biggs and Scott E. Price; three great grandchildren, Jackson Price, Maxwell Biggs and Connor Biggs; a sister, Martha Trump; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia J. Keiser in 2014; and eleven siblings, Carl, Harold, Will, Ed, John, Paul, Henry, Helen, Herbert, Dorothy and Alice.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday, March 3rd, beginning at 1:00PM at the Mountainhome United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathryn "Kat" Dinkelacker-Swan officiating. The graveside service and burial will be on Monday, March 4th, at 11:00AM at Oakland Cemetery in Mountainhome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to the Mountainhome United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 327, Mountainhome, PA 18342.
