Jeanne Manson

Jeanne M. Manson, 75, of Canadensis passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Phillip and Mary Sullivan Manson she received a bachelor's degree from Emanual College in Boston and a PhD degree from Ohio State. A noted Teratologist Jeanne started her research at University of Cincinnati, continued at Glaxo Smith Kline, Merck, and ended at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was a former member of the board of the Friendly Community Center, taught several stem classes at Barrett Paradise Friendly Library, and enjoyed traveling and gardening.

She is survived by her wife Sally Smith, a sister Kathleen, her brothers Peter, Bill and Jim, and many nieces and nephews.
Services: A memorial service will take place at 12 noon on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco, Pa 18326 where her family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00A.M. until the time of service.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Home Care and Hospice, 502 VNA Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
