She lived in Monroe County for most of her life, and was a local daycare teacher and director of the Barrett Senior Center through the Monroe County Office of the Aging.
Barbara was a very active member of the Mountainhome United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and played in the bell choir as well as serving on many church committees. She was also active with P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) local chapter CK.
In addition to her husband, surviving are two sons, Jason Seese and wife Stephanie Youngs-Seese of Dover and Patrick McNulty and wife Kristen Hamilton of Center Valley; three grandchildren, Chloe McNulty, Tessa McNulty and William Seese; a brother, Eric Kircher and wife Anna Kircher of Mooresville, NC; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Judy Arndt, brother Kurt Kircher, and granddaughter Emma McNulty.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday December 8th at Mountainhome United Methodist Church with Rev. Kat Dinkelacker officiating. Following the service, there will be a luncheon downstairs which all attendees are welcome.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the William H. Clark Funeral Home in Stroudsburg.
