Previously, she worked in Palmertons garment industry as a machine operator. Barbara was of the Methodist denomination. She enjoyed baking, sewing, caring for her plants and home. Survivors: Husband; sister, Janice, wife of Miles O. Andreas and Sandy, wife of James Scherer, all of Palmerton; brothers, Paul and his wife, Hazel, of Lehighton, Ronald and his wife, Gloria, of Weissport; several nieces and nephews.
