Kerry Abrams - Obituary

Kerry "Burrhead" "Abe" "Abraham" Arthur Abrams, 56 of Canadensis, suddenly passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. Born in Honesdale, he was the son of Dewitt and Barbara (Finan) Abrams. Kerry was the husband of Nicole (Stotsenburg) Abrams. He worked as a welder and heavy equipment operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for over 34 years. Kerry was a member of the Barrett Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Oak Springs Sportsman Club. Kerry enjoyed 4 wheeling, fishing and hunting. Above all, he loved his Jeeps as well as, reminiscing and sharing old time stories with his loved ones.

Survivors: In addition to his parents, Dewitt and Barbara and his wife, Nicole, Kerry will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Kody Abrams and his Fiance TaraLee and Zack Abrams and his wife Kerrie; sisters, Tammy Stets and her husband Greg and Ginger Abrams and her husband David Fahad; brother, Keith Abrams and his wife Pam, as well as, many beloved nieces and nephews. Kerry is preceded in death by his beloved fur child, Massey.

Services: Kerry's family will receive friends and relatives from 11:00A.M. to 1:00P.M. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 in the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco Pa 18326. A luncheon and a time of remembrance will follow.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Barrett Township Volunteer Fire Department, 6690 PA-191, Cresco, PA 18326.
